It is possible to see her in Tyler Perry's smash hit, Why Did I Get Married. Alongside Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as Indie film Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. The other films she has appeared in includes The 636, for which she received the the award for Best Actress at the 2013 NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone as well as American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha began her career on stage after graduating from the Cum Laude Conservatory with the B.F.A. Keesha was a part of an appearance in Broadway National Tour of Carousel. The other theatre productions comprise Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. The work of Keesha includes directing episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?" and short films One Day Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is also the co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and is currently working on several new original projects currently in the work.
