Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania) She is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was considered academically gifted as a child and began the second grade when she was five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone win Miss Crawford County. Stone and her Aunt in 1977, moved in New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. While in Europe she spent a full year living in Milano as well as Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling and modeling in Europe and decided to go into acting in Europe while she was there. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
