Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd followed up to win three fights over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat were finished within the first moment. Following that she fought at WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd recovered from the loss, and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill her first time, and she managed to finish her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. But, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. In her last fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut was during UFC Fight Night 118 in which she faced Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina using ground and pound to win by TKO during the second round. She continued her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd was able to beat Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and her Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough to end her win streak. The third time she fought on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
